The 78th Fraser Highlanders will be celebrating St. Andrew’s Day on November 19 with a concert featuring the 78th Fraser Highlanders Pipes and Drums.

In addition, Crépuscule, a Quebec City traditional Scottish music group, will be playing pieces from their recently produced album Horizon, and singer Julie Laliberté will be accompanied by Sébastien Tremblay on guitar.

Julie and Sébastien performed recently to rave reviews on the Carré d’Youville stage during the 2016 Quebec City Celtic Festival. Organist Gordon Brown will be accompanying the 78th Fraser Highlanders on the majestic organ and pipes piece, “Highland Cathedral.”

The concert will be followed by a reception where you are invited to share a glass of wine, beer or soft beverage with the musicians. A taste of Haggis will also be offered.

This year’s concert and reception will take place on Saturday, November 19, at 7:00 p.m. at Chalmers-Wesley United Church, 78 Rue Sainte-Ursule, Quebec City.

You may purchase your ticket for $20 (show only) or $25 (show and cocktail) online or at the door.
