Foy.  Sebastien Levesque set the tone with 143 yards rushing and two touchdowns.

Frances Moore Brooke (1724-1789) was an English novelist who spent a few years in Quebec and is credited with writing the first Canadian novel.

What language are we speaking?

I keep wondering what, if anything we're wasting our breath on arguing over this old English/French thing. I look at people like Pauline Marois and the P.Q., as well as Gilles Duceppe and the Bloc Québécois, and I have to ask myself: Just what or who's under threat from whom?

Lady Lions fall short despite valiant effort

After actually taking a 2-1 lead near end of the first half, the Champlain St. Lawrence College Lady Lions gave up four consecutive goals, bowing 5-2 to their more experienced opponents from CEGEP Ste. Foy in their inaugural match.

The match was the first for a women's soccer team from SLC in 18 years.

Correction on VEQ Fall Fest start times

Saturday, September 18 is the date to visit local community groups and catch up with old friends.
That’s when the Voice of English-speaking Quebec will hold its Fall Fest at Quebec High School, 945 avenue Belvédère. Doors to open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Charest, Labeaume to discuss Nordiques return: report

The return of the National Hockey League to Quebec City could be one step closer to reality, if a published report is any indication.

Québec Premier Jean Charest will meet with Quebec City Mayor Regis Labeaume next Tuesday to discuss the financing of a new arena in the provincial capital, the report said.
