Blind hockey player makes long strides in the name of Courage Canada

Almost every day from September 12 to 29, legally blind Mark DeMontis will wake up, slip on in-line skates, and glide 50 to 70 kilometres in support of his charity, Courage Canada - a non-profit that raises money for blind hockey players.

This is the skater's second cross-country campaign and he will span five provinces over 64 days, from Halifax to DeMontis' hometown of Toronto.
