The Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec recently closed its exhibition entitled the enchanting fantasy realm of Diaghilev's Ballets Russes: When Art Dances with Music.

"Over 80,000 people came, which is a remarkable number given the type of concept-exhibition it was," confirmed Linda Tremblay, in charge of press relations for the Musée.

Eastern Quebec Learning Centre revamps web presence

On September 7, the Eastern Quebec Learning Centre revealed a lively new look - complete with a vibrant, streamlined website, new official logo and new slogan: "Learn it! Do it! Ici, maintenant!"

"We needed to modernize the look of our logo. We've come up with the new logo which represents two people communicating together," says Susie Faguy, the Centre Director.

The invitation I received from a friend to attend the vernissage or opening of an art exhibition by Renée Piché was a much appreciated gift. I had attended such openings before and even held my own exhibitions years ago when I dabbled in oil. Patrons of the art from all over Quebec City came for the opening of Madame Piché's exhibition.
