Recently back in Quebec from competing in the US Open, and having just celebrated her 25th birthday, Blainville’s Aleksandra Wozniak, ranked 42nd in the world, is eager to play again. The official opening match was held at Laval University PEPS on Monday, September 10, at 7:00 p.m., and was preceded by a special presentation marking the 20th anniversary of the Bell Challenge.

Grand Prix more than just a ‘ride in the park’

When we learn lifelong, supposedly unforgettable skills, or pursue hobbies that transcend age and fitness levels, we sometimes describe them as “like riding a bike.” However, everything is relative, and even riding a bike is not always easy. Riders in the 2012 Grand Prix cycliste de Québec gave evidence of just that on Friday, September 7.
