Royal 22e Régiment and Voltigeurs de Québec launch CD with a concert
La Musique du Royal 22e Régiment in association with La Musique des Voltigeurs de Québec launched their first CD, simply titled UN, at the Basilique-cathédrale Notre-Dame de Québec on Nov. 10. A free concert by La Musique des Voltigeurs “L’écho des coquelicots”, which highlighted the 100th anniversary of the signing of the Armistice, followed the launch.
PIGS light up the Impérial Bell with the music of Pink Floyd
PIGS, Canada’s Pink Floyd tribute band, was back in town Nov. 7 to play at the Impérial Bell as part of their Outside / In Canadian tour. Some of the more “mature” fans felt young again reminiscing and getting into the frame of mind that is created by the music of Pink Floyd.
