Concerts to begin soon at the Edwin-Bélanger Bandstand

The Edwin-Bélanger Bandstand proudly presents the first concert of its 26th summer season on the Plains of Abraham on June 10. A standout program of 22 shows will be presented from Thursdays to Sundays. It’s a one-of-a-kind setting in the heart of nature where you will discover and enjoy well-known artists and tomorrow’s headliners.

Encore! for the Encore Chorale

The Encore Chorale, a group of 130 mature singers (everyone is at least 55) from the United States, directed by Jeanne Kelly, gave a most impressive performance at Chalmers-Wesley United Church on June 2.

From March to June 2018, students at Dollard-des-Ormeaux school (DDO) in Shannon have been involved in a coding (computer programming) project.

Quebec City Women’s Club member Barbara Bignell happened to mention during a recent conversation that her father Jim O’Halloran was instrumental in seeing that the large bronze statue of Joan of Arc was installed where it is today, in the beautiful garden on the Plains of Abraham.
