Archbishop of Québec receives the pallium from Pope Benedict XVI

On June 29, Archbishop Gérald Cyprien Lacroix, Archbishop of Quebec, received the pallium from the hands of Pope Benedict XVI. The imposition of the pallium on 40 metropolitan archbishops appointed during the past year from around the world took place at the Mass of the Feast of Saints Peter and Paul in St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome.

Cathedral Summer Concerts Begin

Last Thursday, the Parish of Quebec inaugurated a new summer concert series at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity. The series of concerts has been put together by Béatrice Cadrin, Cathedral Choir Director, and showcases talent from the Quebec City region. The concerts have been made possible with the financial assistance of Desjardins, Caisse populaire de Québec.
