Capitales among Can-Am League’s best at mid-way point

With a month and a half to go in the regular season, the Capitales de Québec of the Can-Am Baseball League are well positioned to make the playoffs.

Even though the Capitales lost to the Rockland Boulders 5-4 on July 22, the Caps are still in second place, six games behind the league leaders, the Sussex County Miners of Augusta, New Jersey.

Sports Briefs: Rugby, hockey and basketball

The Rugby Québec girls’ Under 16 (U16) and Under 18 (U18) 15s teams will play a pair of games on July 29 at the Stade Telus at Université Laval against the Académie de Rugby du Rouge et Or.

Sandra Marie ROUSSEAU June 25, 1955 – June 10, 2018

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sandra Rousseau in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue on June 10. She was the beloved daughter of Vilma Binet and the late Jean Rousseau.
