When St. Patrick’s High School students return from their relaxing March Break, there’ll be no more poutine, no more fries, and no more Skittles. The pop machines offer water and fruit juices, but no soft drinks or sports drinks.

CBC Radio One host Shelagh Rogers and company are enjoying winter in Quebec City this week as they prepare for a special Sounds Like Canada broadcast at the Château Frontenac’s Café de la Terrasse on Friday morning.
No stranger to the city, Rogers admitted that this is her first foray in February.

Wintery fun at Valcartier Elementary

The last week of January was full of wintery fun at Valcartier Elementary School. On Tuesday, Cycle 2 and 3 students travelled to Mont-St-Sacrement for a fun-filled day of sliding, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. Alison McBain, of the Cycle 3 class, described the trip as a “fun and active” day.
