QHS Blazers: CQSB Boys Basketball Champions

The Quebec High School Blazers boys team won the CQSB 2017 basketball tournament in Shawinigan on February 11. Lucas Beaumont, Sam McCoubrey, Ian Craig, Olivier Pellizzari, Ishmael Gregoire, Yanic Tremblay Gordon and Jordan Drapeau proudly hold the banner. Missing when photo was taken, Vincent Bergeron. Coach and QHS principal Warren Thomas stands behind them.

First Nations culture celebrated at Hôtel de Glace

Quebec City's renowned Hôtel de Glace, situated near the former site of the Jardin zoologique de Québec, launched its first thematic weekend February 17 to 19. It celebrated First Nations culture in a joint partnership with the local Huron-Wendat community.

Successful Hitchcock Film Festival inspires a second

In honour of the 60th anniversary of Alfred Hitchcock in Quebec City, the first ever Alfred Hitchcock Film Festival created by Michel Savoy at the Cinéma Cartier, was a resounding success. The public appreciated seeing the famous British director's masterpieces.
