Artistic jazz concert lights up Morrin Centre
It was still broad daylight when the Daniel Arthur Trio took to the stage in College Hall at the Morrin Centre on Aug. 3, but a few strummed notes from bassist Éric Maillé and some inspired mood lighting were all it took to create an enthralling jazz ambiance.
Kids enjoy Arts Alive! music workshop
Children gather around singer-songwriter and children’s book author Lp Camozzi during the Arts Alive! Québec festival at the Morrin Centre on Aug. 4. He entertained them with songs such as “The Backpack Blues,” and “Hey, Little Girl” and showed them how to play the spoons while he played guitar and mouth organ.
