Meet Natalie Keller: the QCT’s newest freelance journalist


The Quebec Chronicle-Telegraph is delighted to welcome Natalie Keller aboard its team of freelance journalists.

Born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, by Polish-Canadian parents, Natalie has never been afraid of a challenge. She started French Immersion at age five and 10 years later she represented Manitoba at the National Ambassador Youth Forum organized by French for the Future.

Former Nordiques general manager Maurice Filion passes away at age 85​ ​

Former Quebec Nordiques’ general manager, Maurice Filion, passed away on July 28 at age 85. The news of Filion’s death spread very quickly throughout the province of Quebec hockey world.

Filion, a Montreal native, came to Quebec in 1969 to be the head coach of the Quebec Remparts of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL).

Filing a complaint can be a positive gesture

Capitales split the series in Trois-Rivières against Aigles

The Aigles’s designated hitter Alexander Ayala went four-for-four, including a two-run home run in the first inning as the Trois-Rivières team beat the Québec Capitales 10-3, to split the four-game series in Can-Am League action.

Remparts to open the 2017-18 season on the road

The Québec Remparts will open their 21st season on the road as they travel through the Parc des Laurentides to meet their arch-rivals, the Chicoutimi Saguenéens at the Georges-Vézina Centre on September 22. The Remparts will continue on the road for a game in Baie-Comeau before coming back home.
