The French helicopter carrier Jeanne d'Arc will visit Quebec City for the last time between April 12 and 19.

The week of March 20 was recognized as Adult Learners Week all across Quebec.
This year, Quebec City Reading Council organized three activities to celebrate Adult Learners' Week.

A Karaoke Idol contest in collaboration with the Eastern Quebec Learning Centre (EQLC) and Quebec Association for Adult Learning (QAAL) at the EQLC discovered some hidden talents.

Via Rail going faster to Montreal

Military music festival slated for August 24-28

Bands from six countries will participate in this year's Festival Internationale du Musique Militaire de Québec. The festival, which will take place August 24 to 29, will include military ensembles from Germany, Brazil, France, Italy, Russia and Canada.

St-Lawrence qualifies for hockey championships

The St-Lawrence Lions Collegiate hockey team has qualified for the Dodge Cup Provincial Championships in Sherbrooke. The road was a difficult one, especially in the last few weeks, that were plagued by a number of injuries to key players.

"The boys worked very hard while competing with sudden-death play-off intensity during this qualifying weekend," the coach Mike Labadie said.
