Morrin Centre Book Club holds first author event

Foxspirit: a Woman in Mao’s China, written by Zhimei Zhang, will be discussed at the next meeting of the Morrin Centre Book Club on Tuesday, May 1, starting at 6:00 p.m.

Local Huron-Wendat poet Jean Sioui, author Maurizio Gatti and poet Louis-Karl Picard-Sioui from Wendake were part of the First Nations booth which also included Innu writer Joséphine Bacon whose photographs decorated the entrance to the 2012 Salon du livre.
