The Quebec Art Company coming alive with Deathtrap

While most of us are enjoying the sneak preview of spring weather, the Quebec Art Company (QAC) is busy rehearsing for their spring production of Ira Levin’s comedy-thriller Deathtrap.

Since moving to Quebec eleven years ago, the Jacques Cartier Beach at Cap Rouge has been one of my favorite haunts for strolling along the mighty St. Lawrence River. Going there so often, I do not always notice the changes until something draws my attention. I had seen workers planting trees in the past but had not noticed there were so many of them until later.

Spring tidings at Chalmers-Wesley United Church

The members of the Chalmers-Wesley church recently filled two large gift bags laden with clothing and accessories for newborn babies which were taken to the Jeffery Hale Community Centre to be donated to a needy new mother or expectant mother. This annual project of the congregation is called the Easter Baby Basket project.
