Winners of the July 2012 Mystery Photo Contest

We are pleased to announce the winners of the QCT Mystery Photo Contest for the month of July, 2012. They will each receive a $15 gift certificate from La Maison Anglaise international bookstore located in Place de la Cité.

Photo #6 - The correct answer is: the horse water fountain (or trough) on rue Taché in front of Martello Tower #2. The other three (copies) are located on rue Saint-Louis opposite the Garrison Club, Place d’Armes on rue du Trésor, and the Esplanade (horse parking area) on rue d’Auteuil. The original fountain was installed to encourage people to drink water rather than strong spirits! The winner, who correctly answered the location of all four of these fountains, is Annick Dion.

Photo #7 - The correct answer is: the former Jeffery Hale Hospital located at 300 boulevard René Lévesque est. Two people submitted the correct answer and the winner (by random draw) is Bob Dollard.

Photo #8 - The correct answer is: above the door of the former YMCA building at Place d’Youville (964 rue Saint-Jean), and the winner is Annick Dion.

Photo #9 - The correct answer is the Tourny Fountain in front of the National Assembly. Seven people submitted the correct answer and the winner (by random draw) is Esther Harris.

Grand Prize Winner: Annick Dion correctly answered all four questions in the Mystery Photo contest for the month of July. She will receive a $100 gift certificate from the Centre Chiropratique Soulard Tickel, compliments of Dre. Catherine Soulard and Dr. Geoffrey Tickel.
