Dr. Gary Kobinger of Université Laval has been awarded a grant for $3.99 million to work on a vaccine against HIV/AIDS.

Dr. Gary Kobinger of Université Laval has been awarded a grant for $3.99 million from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) to work on a vaccine to prevent HIV infection. This three-year grant will allow Dr. Kobinger and his lab to collaborate with the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative (IAVI) with the goal of advancing a potential vaccine to clinical testing in human volunteers.
