Jeffery Hale Community Services to hold a two-day flu vaccination clinic

Jeffery Hale Community Services will hold a two-day vaccination clinic for the regular seasonal flu for the following members of the English-speaking community:
• people 60 years and older
• people of all ages with certain chronic diseases
• those who come into regular contact with the above-mentioned people

Toupie, the oldest bear at 30 years old, is not used to caged travel but hopefully will adapt to the new experience.

Katimavik High School Reunion

A reunion will be held on September 3 and 4, 2011, for all alumnae who attended Katimavik High School from 1971to 1986. There will be an informal get-together at the St. Lawrence College Campus on Avenue Nérée-Tremblay on Saturday evening starting at 8:00 p.m. Admission is free and there will be a bar as well as music from the 70s and 80s.

Ms. Marielle Stewart appointed Director General of CQSB

The Council of Commissioners of the Central Québec School Board is proud to announce the appointment of Ms. Marielle Stewart to the position of Director General of the Central Québec School Board. Ms. Stewart will assume her new responsibilities on July 1st, 2011.

QHS students visit the Rockies!

Quebec High School students recently spent one week taking in the Rockies, visiting Canada Olympic Park and bonding with host families as part of a SEVEC cultural youth exchange trip to Alberta. Twenty-four Secondary 2 and 3 students and three QHS organizers took part in the voyage.
