Alexander Graham Bell is credited with being the first inventor of the telephone.

Rue Graham-Bell is a short street in the Jean-Talon industrial park off Rue Frank- Carrel. It is named in honour of Alexander Graham Bell, a teacher of the deaf, a scientist, engineer, professor and inventor. His wide-ranging interests and curiosity led to inventions that would in many ways change our world.

Bell was born in 1847 in Edinburgh, Scotland.
