Porteurs d’Espoire (wearing yellow T-shirts) – Mireille Bond, Nathalie Morin and Élodie Dumont-Rousseau – led the way around the track as some 45 students, teachers and friends walked for seven hours in the first Canadian Cancer Society Relay for Life held at St. Patrick’s High School.

Students and teachers of St. Patrick’s High School participated in their first ever Relay for Life to raise funds for the Canadian Cancer Society on Friday, May 26. To do so, they walked for seven hours, from 3 to 11 p.m., around the sports field behind their school on Avenue Maisonneuve. This was the first Relay for Life expressly organized by and for young people in Quebec City.
