Thirty people participated in the dinner organized at the Garrison Club on Saturday to celebrate the 200th anniversary of St Andrew’s church. Reverend Katherine Burgess (left) has been the Minister to the church since September 2009.

There are several churches in Quebec City's area which offer services in English, but St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church is the oldest one with Scottish origins. This weekend, members of the parish celebrated the 200th anniversary of their church building, which was dedicated in November, 1810, after the creation of the St. Andrew's Congregation by the Fraser Highlanders in 1759.
