Ross James ROURKE

Ross James Rourke passed away on June 5, 2014, at the age of 68. He was the son of the late Wilfred Rourke and the late Marion Fryer, and the late Violet MacDonald (beloved nanny). Ross was a pillar of the English community, a lawyer by profession, a devoted businessman (W. Rourke Ltd.) and once part-owner of the Quebec Chronicle-Telegraph. He will be greatly missed by all.
Beloved spouse of Carmen Delisle, Ross is also survived by his loving children Kathleen (Michael Rogers), Ross (Valérie Morin-Poirier), Kelley (Jonathan Déry), along with his four grand-children Ashley, Felix, Jeremy and Lili-Rose. He is also survived by his brother and loyal business partner Bryon, his sister Sheila, his dearest aunt Violet, his brothers- and sisters-in-law, his cousins, nephews, nieces and numerous friends and colleagues.
The family wishes to thank the generous staff members of the Hôtel-Dieu de Québec hospital for their ongoing care throughout the years. Their assistance and collaboration helped Ross and family persevere through his sickness.

A memorial service will be held at Chalmers-Wesley United Church, 78, rue Sainte-Ursule, Québec, QC G1R 4E8, on Saturday June 14, 2014, at 10:30 a.m.
