Québec 2008: Join in the festivities!
It is in 1608, on the banks of the St. Lawrence River in Québec City, that the history of the first French colony in North America began. 400 years later, Québec City is celebrating its anniversary with a full year of festivities. Exclusive shows by Céline Dion, Cirque du Soleil, other large-scale events and highly anticipated performances by Charles Aznavour, Fergie, Yes and Linkin Park are sure to delight spectators. Celebrate with us on July 3, 2008, the day of Québec City's anniversary and the opening of the summer festival. For details, go to www.MonQuebec2008.com.

Québec plein la rue, A Sight to See
Québec plein la rue (Québec City takes to the streets) will celebrate the city's foundation on July 3, 4 and 5, 2008. Some of the largest international street art troupes will come together to show off the city's beauty in spectacular and exclusive performances. Featuring pyrotechnics in the middle of the river (Pointe-à-Carcy), a show extending to the roofs and fronts of buildings on Boulevard René-Levesque and an enchanting and mysterious aquatic show.
