Attending last week’s announcement of two new English schools were CQSB vice-chairman Jean Robert, St. Patrick’s High School governing board chairman Ian O’Gallagher, CQSB chairman Stephen Burke, Education Minister Sebastien Proulx, CQSB director-general Stephen Pigeon, St. Vincent School principal Micheline Gagné, Quebec High School principal Warren Thomson, St. Patrick’s High School principal André Gosselin, and QHS governing board chairman Jean-Luc Trahan.

Central Quebec School Board (CQSB) chairman Stephen Burke says “there hasn’t been anything like this in the English community in the last almost 70 years.” What this is is the announcement of not one, but two brand-new English schools in the Quebec City area.
