Volunteer Elyse Moisan helps 6-year-old Zehra Balam create a snowman.

Have you ever wondered what snowmen really get up to at night? During the Pick-a-Book activity at the Morrin Centre on Jan. 20, the children found out with the winter-themed book Snowmen at Night, by Caralyn Buehner. This fictional adventure sees all the neighbourhood snowmen gathered at the nearby moonlit park, sipping “ice cold cocoa made by snowmen mothers.”
