Parks Canda Events this Weekend - July 24 and 25

- Cartier-Brébeuf National Historic Site, 175 De l'Espinay Street, Quebec:

Saturday and Sunday, July 24 - 25, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Parcs en Art: Meetings with artists and crafters (painting, jewellery, silkscreen print, glass art, weaving, stained glass, ecological production, poetry, felt). Free. Will be cancelled in the event of rain.

Sunday, July 25, 1:30 p.m.
Country Sunday Concert: Duo Piazella with Patrick Healey, flutist, and Isabelle Héroux, guitarist. In collaboration with the Caisse Desjardins de Limoilou. Free. Bring your chair.

- Grosse Île and the Irish Memorial National Historic Site

Sunday, July 25. Concert by Mario Chénard and John McGale (former Offenbach guitarist) in the Anglican Chapel on Grosse Île. Departure by ferryboat from Berthier-sur-Mer at 4:00 p.m. Cost, $49.50 - includes transportation, visit of the Grosse Île and the Irish Memorial National Historic Site of Canada and concert. In collaboration with Croisières Lachance and Les Arts de la scène de Montmagny. Tickets available at www.adls.ca.
