As far as Quebec Culture Minister Christine St-Pierre is concerned, it would be fine for Grammy Award-winning Arcade Fire to sing in English at the big musical show that highlights the annual Fête nationale holiday in June.

St-Pierre’s reported views, however, contradict those of Luc Savard, general manager of the Fête nationale, who was quoted as saying groups are expected to sing in French at the big show.
