Canada must maintain its Canadian International Immunization Initiative

For many years, Canada has had a very effective program of immunizing children around the world, thus preventing deadly diseases such as measles, tetanus and tuberculosis.

Consequently, I hope the government's plan includes the necessary investments to maintain and even extend our important Canadian International Immunization Initiative.

Western societies like ours have an immense moral debt towards many countries elsewhere in the world. I believe this financial help is the least Canada could do to help them save their children.
