Offering up close and personal interaction with Kebs stars like Jonas Pierre and Filose Tishimbomba (just to name a few), allowed the students to gain first exposure to various PBL dribbling, ball passing, all-handling and even a few one-handed techniques. When leaving the camp there was a noticeable difference in each student's level of confidence, knowledge, energy and enthusiasm for life and the game. ‘The students were at first a bit taken back to be learning from and playing with real PBL players, but the experience and skills they picked up are sure to push them to the front line of any team' States M. Vincent Bernier, President of the Kebs, smiling in reflection he adds ‘plus the experience gave them a few great lifelong stories. As well, students learnt first hand that no one not even PBL player make every shot' He then laughs going continuing to say ‘I think everyone learnt a great deal this summer, from each other it was a tremendous success clearly indicating the need for such a unique basketball clinic to be offered throughout the year.'

The summer of 2009 is sure to be a memorable year for the 260 boys and girls that drove the court with Québec City's PBL stars at the 2009 the Kebs Summer Basketball Camp. The first session for the camp started on Monday, July 6th and the last session was finished on Friday August 21st achieving a record attendance of more then 50 students in the last week!

Throughout the summer the Kebs weekly summer camps ran from 8:30 to 4:30, Monday to Friday. Parents were able to enrol their children in the camp for the full intense 35 days or just one week at a time, providing flexibility in the skill development of the children and the families' summer vacation schedule. Due to the enormous interest received from children in various locations, the team held training camps at three different locations (Rochebelle, Collège Champigny(Académies des Arts et des Sports) et Cégep de Levis-Lauzon).

The Kebs offered a top tiered summer basketball program with a unique focus on fundamental basketball and teambuilding techniques. Students were challenged daily by rigorous schedule designed to strengthen their physical, mental and even sometimes emotional conditioning on and off the court. Head coach Charles Dubé-Blais and Assistant Alejandro brought forward over 50 years of Canadian and international basketball experience to the students. Inspiring them to push through their existing boundaries and beliefs and aim for greatness.
