Irish government pays tribute on Grosse Ile with new exhibition

Members of the English-speaking and Irish communities of Quebec City gathered on Grosse-Île with members of the federal government and Irish dignitaries this past Sunday to unveil a $75,000 project to create a new exhibition on the island that once served as a quarantine station for newly arrived immigrants to Canada during the 19th and early 20th century.
