Week of Prayer for Christian Unity

The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity runs from January 20 to 27, and will be celebrated at various locations throughout the city. Most of the activities are in French, with the exception of the hymn sing at Saint Brigid’s Home. The week is organized by the Interdenominational Council of Greater Quebec.

Sunday, January 20 at 2 p.m. – Opening Celebration of the Week of Prayer

Monday, January 21 at 7:30 p.m. – Evening of Praise and Prayer (Alpha)
Saint-Augustin Church, 325 Autoroute 138, Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures.
Wednesday, January 23 at 2 p.m. – Hymn Sing at Saint Brigid’s Home, 1645 Chemin St-Louis Road, Sillery.
Thursday, January 24 at 7 p.m. – Ecumenical Roundtable: Le cantique d’une image, l’icône, at Saint-Joseph Oratory of Québec, 560 Chemin Ste-Foy.
Friday, January 25 at 7:30 p.m. – Evening of Prayer at the Cross, in the Taizé style at Saints-Martyrs-Canadiens Church, 735 Rue Père-Marquette.
Saturday, January 26 at 5 p.m. – Vespers for Christian Unity at La Clarté-Dieu, 750 côte de la Pente-Douce, No. 205.
