Canada’s National Ballet
School 2008/09Audition Tour visits Quebec City, QC

 

Canada’s National Ballet School (NBS) is excited to announce
that the 2008/09 National Audition Tour, which
includes Auditions and Open Classes, will
offer
auditions in Quebec City, QC
on November 4, 2008 at L’Ecole de Danse de Quebec.

 

Auditions for the School’s full-time Professional Ballet Program, which includesthe
Ballet Academic
(grades 6 – 12) and Post-Secondary Programs take the form of a specially designed
ballet class where dancers are assessed for quality of movement, co-ordination
and overall suitability for the demands of classical ballet. The minimum age to
audition is 10, and no prior ballet training is required for students aged 12
and under. Open Classes for junior
and senior dance students regardless of their intent to audition for the
full-time program are also offered by NBS artistic staff as an outreach
component of the National Audition Tour. For more information and to register
