Forty women scientists and engineers were honoured at Université Laval on September 10 for helping to break down science’s gender barrier by entering fields often dominated by men. Questions about women’s place in science and how to encourage young women to pursue a career in the field took centre stage at the cocktail series Empreintes d’elle, organized by the Quebec City YWCA.
