When he departs for the Gaspé this week, Pierre Therrien will be fulfilling a centuries-old English Canadian tradition, though it’s relatively new to French-speaking Quebec. The Canadian Bible Society (CBS) director will be canvassing in the Gaspé’s English-protestant communities in order to raise funds for the society’s Christian publications.
