The National Battlefields Park, a finalist in the Special Attractions category at the national edition of Communities in Bloom, walked away with five "blooms" and a special mention for Green Residue Management at the national awards ceremony in Edmonton last October 13 and 14.

This 18th edition paid tribute to communities from all over Canada as well as from Europe, Singapore and Japan
