Do you remember, back in April, when we were supposed to have a pre-concert talk in collaboration with Les Violons du Roy? It may ring a bell, but you may remember more vividly the problems international airports in Europe encountered following the eruption of the Icelandic volcano under the Eyjafjallajokull glacier. It erupted on Wednesday April 14th and within hours, smoke and ash grounded European flights for days. Now that things have cleared up, we have rescheduled the talk for this coming June 13th. Join us  for a pre-concert lecture which will take a closer look at the programme for Maurice Steger en rappel. The recorder virtuoso Maurice Steger is back with a full programme of Bach, Telemann and Geminiani.

This lecture will be given by Mr. Eric Paetkau, assistant conductor of the Violons du Roy. The lecture will be held at the Morrin Centre and will be followed by the concert at Palais Montcalm. The lecture starts at 6:45 p.m., and is scheduled to last approximately 45 minutes. This activity is free for ticket holders, $5 for members and $8 for non-members. Reserve now at (418) 694-9147 or via [email protected]
