Maman est reine! Marie-Andrée Boucher, to the right of Bonhomme Carnaval, was crowned queen of the 61st Quebec Winter Carnival on opening night.
Marie-Andrée Boucher, duchess of Sainte-Foy-Sillery-Cap-Rouge, received her crown on Friday night as the Carnival festivities opened. Boucher is a full-time student services counsellor, a mother, a duchess and now a queen. "I called my kids first and they were so happy," she said.
