It's flu vaccine time!

Jeffery Hale Community Services to hold a two-day flu vaccination clinic

Jeffery Hale Community Services will hold a two-day vaccination clinic for the regular seasonal flu for the following members of the English-speaking community:
• people 60 years and older
• people of all ages with certain chronic diseases
• those who come into regular contact with the above-mentioned people
• those who take care of children aged between 0 and 23 months
• pregnant women in good health in their second and third trimester

These clinics will be held on Tuesday, November 15, at the Valcartier Community Centre, and on Friday, November 18, at Jeffery Hale Hospital's outpatient clinic.

You must make an appointment by calling Community Services reception at 418 684-JEFF (5333), ext. 1580, between 8:30 AM and noon and 1:00 to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday.  The flu shot is free of charge, but you must have a valid Quebec health care card. Please note that our Day Centre clients will receive their vaccine on a day that they usually attend.

If you cannot make it on these dates, there will be other flu vaccine clinics in the region, including special clinics for babies aged 6 to 23 months. You can call the Info-santé (health info) hotline by dialing 811 for more details.
