Frampton: forget me not …

Patrick Hinds piped at the cemetery. Tombstones with Irish names were marked with green tags.

These few words keep me going back to Frampton, a small town 75 kms south of Quebec City. Every year, Springbrook, the hill on which sits Christ Church and cemetery, is totally carpeted with blue forget-me-nots. The last worshippers sowed thousands of seeds when they closed the church in 1950, knowing they were leaving a touching living memorial.
