A mechanical shovel demolished what was left of the fire-ravaged buildings in downtown Saint-Raymond.

Shortly after midnight on May 1, 2016, fire broke out in an apartment in downtown Saint-Raymond, some 60 kilometres northwest of Quebec City. When firemen arrived, four buildings were burning, two facing the main street, Rue Saint-Joseph, and two others directly behind them on Rue Saint-Ignace.
