The real-life hunters behind Un film de chasse de filles - Florence Grandmont, Megan Alain, Jannie Lalonde Larente and Hélène Larente - joined director-producer Julie Lambert (holding microphone) and film festival staff onstage after the film's premiere at the Palais Montcalm.

Quebec filmmaker Julie Lambert will have a hard act to follow - her own.

Lambert's debut film, Un film de chasse de filles, captured two top prizes and came close to the biggest prize of all at the Festival de Cinéma de la Ville de Québec, which wrapped up on Friday. The French-language documentary follows four women and a teenage girl who hunt deer and moose in rural Quebec.
