Discover Community Cooking with Chef Chris Wotherspoon

Sign up now for a variety of individual cooking classes that are as diverse as your tastes! Voice of English-speaking Québec is collaborating with Be Active Québec and the Wellness Centre to bring SNACS* Entrepreneurs Chef Chris Wotherspoon back into our Community Cooking program for many more to enjoy! 

Late-afternoon classes will provide a hands-on opportunity to learn about healthy recipes, apply new food skills and foster a social and fun atmosphere for cooking under the guidance of a professional chef. 

Classes are $20 each which covers your registration and the cost of the food. Should you wish to make an extra portion for yourself or a loved one, simply add the additional portion fee to your payment when you register online at veq.ca/community-cooking/ or call 418 683-2366. 

Classes with two asterisks (**) are open and friendly to young families (children of 5 years old +, free of charge).  

Classes start on October 29 and are held in the SNACS Kitchen at Quebec High School (entrance at 875 Père-Marquette) on Thursdays (and the occasional Friday) from 4 to 6 p.m. through to April 21, 2016. 

You can register for all classes or pick and choose those that appeal to your taste buds. 

*SNACS = Special Needs Activities and Community Services.

January 22 - Intro to cooking with your child**

February 4 - Cost-cutting meals**

February 18 - 30-minute meals**

March 11 - Healthy and easy snacks for lunches.** 

March 24 - Fresh pasta**

April 7 - Creative and healthy desserts (diabetic friendly)

April 21 - Vegetarian meals.
