Not every corner of Canada can be reached by train, but fortunately, there are other enjoyable ways to reach some hidden gems. Among those jewels is Quebec’s own island paradise, the Magdalen Islands. Located in the Gulf of St. Lawrence, the islands are actually closer to Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia than they are to mainland Quebec.
