A sculpture of eight horses by Franco-Saskatchewan artist Joe Fafard, a gift to the city in honour of its 400th anniversary from the City of Calgary and the Calgary Stampede, has been unveiled in Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde Park.

A hauntingly beautiful art installation was recently inaugurated in the Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde Park on boulevard Champlain. The work, entitled Do Re Mi Fa Sol La Si Do, comprised of eight steel horses, is a gift to City of Quebec for its 400th anniversary by the City of Calgary and the Calgary Stampede.

Calgary is twinned with Quebec City.
