Patrick Bourassa starts off his introduction to the various distilled spirits from Scotland apply named Scotch Wiskey.

There are five essential measures to be taken in order to appreciate a good whiskey:

1. Take a small sip;
2. Don't inhale while the whisky is in your mouth. This way, the whisky's fire won't burn up;
3. Chew up the whisky. Avoid putting it under your tongue;
4. Keep the whisky in your mouth long enough so it will be coated in saliva;
