Bus routes Nos. 3, 4 and 801 will bring you close to the historic site. By car take De L’Espinay Street, which is between the CHUQ-Pavillon Saint-François d’Assise and the Saint-François d’Assise church. Continue on this way until you reach the historic site.

Iroquoians who pre-dated the arrival of Jacques Cartier grew their crops, among them tobacco and corn, in circles.

"It was always in a circle," said Jacinthe Coté, co-ordinator at Parc Cartier-Brébeuf National Historic Site in Limoilu. "Cartier planted his vegetables in lines."
