The notion that Quebec City's history is mainly the story of French settlers and their offspring is prevalent, even among those who are not descended from coureurs de bois and filles du roy. While the Montcalm-Wolfe narrative is fixed in our collective memory, the many and significant contributions of the city's Jewish population have until now been very poorly documented.
