Do you long for improved communication with your loved one either over the phone or face to face? Conversation is often difficult when the person we are talking with has memory loss issues. If you want to have better conversations with those you are caring for, please join us for the next Caring Circle Café to be held Tuesday, April 15 at 9:45 AM in the multipurpose room of the Jeffery Hale Pavillion (1270 chemin Sainte-Foy, Quebec, Qc G1S 2M6) Coffee and muffins will be served. Free parking is available. Special speaker Hugo Lanaux, of La Societé d'Alzheimer de Québec will be exploring the subject of improved communication with loved ones with memory loss. Come share your experiences with other caregivers. Please call Jeffery Hale Community Services to register for this free event: 418 684-5333, ext. 1539. By sharing and learning together, we can all enlarge our local circle of care. If you are reluctant to attend because you cannot leave your loved one alone, please call us so we can find a way to assist you. The Walk for Memories/Marche de la Mémoire will be held on Sunday, May 25, starting at 9:00 a.m. at Place George V. To register, call 418 527-4294 or visit www.lamarchedelamemoire.com
